Hi, I'm Melody.​

I love creating and collaborating on extraordinary things and working with extraordinary people. This is reflected and aligns with my passion for working in the education, government, and non profit sectors. My goal is always to positively impact the lives of other humans.

A Little About How I Work:

I'm a revenue leader who builds and scales organizations in complex markets. I have experience in EdTech, FinTech, GovTech, Helpdesk, Spyware, MobileTech, Telehealth, and Mental health tech.

​

Over 25+ years, I've generated billions in revenue and secured over $100 million in funding by getting granular on strategy, executing with precision, and staying ruthlessly attuned to what's working (and what isn't).

 

A bit about some things I've built:

  • ClassWallet | $0 to $200M valuation, $2B in transaction volume, $95M in capital investment. Scaled from founder support to a 10-person sales team while personally closing multiple 8-figure state contracts. From hire #5 to 320+ employees, I held many roles and grew with the company.​

  • Multiple Tech Companies across education, and Mental Health for education | Transitioned organizations from founder-led sales to full revenue teams ($1M→$5M ARR).

  • Opened new SLED verticals for companies with zero government experience ($30M →$60M ARR).

  • Helped nonprofit ESA policy leaders connect with various technologies to move towards the future of school choice.

  • For fun: pioneered unexpected market entry strategies; like bringing Disney to the table in under 30 days (and no previous connections) for an ag-tech company.

Markets that require granular strategy, cultural intelligence, and the ability to link messaging to what's happening in the world - policy shifts, budget cycles, political landscapes, and market timing.

 

How I Lead:

 

My approach is grounded in neuroscience, and intuition. Understanding how people make decisions, what's driving behavioral change, staying compassionate while maintaining healthy boundaries, reading the room, and building organizational cultures that support sustainable performance is paramount. 

 

Beyond the Work:

Nature is my reset. Early morning meditation, pulling weeds in my garden, sunrises, long walks in beautiful spaces, dogs sleeping under my desk, beaches. My mantra: "Just Be."

 

I'm a happy wife of nearly two decades, a proud mom, a fun sister, a loving family member, and a really great friend. 

​

I serve as Senior Board Advisor for Florida Medical Rights Association. Under my leadership, we successfully passed bipartisan legislation through both the full Florida Senate and House to reform the state's wrongful death statute, putting it on the Governor's desk. The advocacy for justice continues.
